Young Inquisitive Minds (YIM) is a student-run service initiative that yearns to foster curiosity and scientific exploration in young special needs children. It offers STEM-focused programs and activities that are created specifically for kids with developmental disabilities. Your generous contribution will be used for procuring the materials required for this program and towards expanding our outreach in the special needs community. We greatly appreciate all your donations and thank you very much for your support. If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering for the program, please reach us at younginquisitiveminds2019@gmail.com.

Our most recent project is a school extracurricular curriculum consisting of weekly STEM lessons, which will soon be implemented in special education classes in the Bay Area, tailored to the middle and high school demographic. These interactive and hands-on activities will provide a fun, but educational break from the students’ regular school schedules, whether it be virtual as it is during the COVID-19 pandemic or in person. Your generous contribution will be used for procuring the materials required for this program and expanding our outreach in the special needs community!
