In January 2021, Young Inquisitive Minds Founders, Nithila Poongovan and Meghana Repaka, were awarded the Jefferson Award for Public Service from CBS San Francisco for their work in creating opportunities for those with disabilities at an early age. Young Inquisitive Minds in collaboration with Stanford Kids with Dreams, Help Us Gather and the State Council on Developmental Disabilities commits to providing STEM education, specifically CS through robotics, in Bay Area, California serving over 1,200 students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by August 2025.

We just won the July 2020 HUG Community Inclusion Award for our widespread impact on the Santa Clara Community and our constant efforts to make our world more inclusive of those with disabilities.
